1 INTRODUCTION
(a)This Privacy Policy explains how Catalyst Creative Pty Ltd trading as Clip & Roll collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information in connection with the Clip & Roll website and web application.
(b)In this Privacy Policy, we, us and our refer to that entity.
(c)Clip & Roll is a browser-based video review platform for basketball coaches. Because footage uploaded to Clip & Roll may show players, coaches, officials, spectators and other people, including people under 18, we treat privacy as an important part of how the service operates.
(d)We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles to the extent they apply to us.
(e)This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Cookies Policy and, where you hold a Clip & Roll account, the SaaS Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy.
(f)We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be published on our website. If we make a material change that affects how we handle personal information in connection with an account, we will notify account holders by email.

(ii) your country and state;
(iii) your team, club or association and competition details;
(iv) information you provide when starting a trial, creating an account or accepting a team invitation;
(v) information contained in support enquiries, contact forms or other communications you send to us;
(vi) your subscription plan, subscription status and billing transaction information;
(vii) your IP address and basic information about your device, browser and use of the Website or web application;
(viii) information collected through the cookies and local storage described in our Cookies Policy;
(ix) error and diagnostic information generated when you use the service; and
(x) game footage and other coaching content uploaded to Clip & Roll, including clips, tags, reels and related information.
(b)Payments are processed by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your complete payment card details.
(c)We do not ask account holders to provide their date of birth. Account holders and Assistant Coaches must confirm that they are at least 18 years old.
(d)Most people appearing in footage do not have Clip & Roll accounts. Footage may contain personal information about players, coaches, officials, spectators and other people who appear in a recording.
(e)Footage may also incidentally reveal information that could be sensitive information under privacy law, such as information about a person’s racial or ethnic origin, health or disability. We do not collect footage for the purpose of identifying, profiling or making decisions about a person based on those characteristics.
3 FOOTAGE AND PERSONAL INFORMATION OF PEOPLE UNDER 18
(a)Clip & Roll accounts are only available to people who are at least 18 years old. We do not invite children to create accounts and we do not collect personal information directly from players under 18 as part of the account registration process.
(b)However, footage uploaded to Clip & Roll may include players and other people under 18.
(c)The account holder is responsible for ensuring that they have all rights, permissions and consents required to film, upload and share footage through Clip & Roll.
(d)Where footage includes a player under 18, the account holder must hold written consent from the player’s parent or guardian covering the filming of that player and the use and sharing of the footage for coaching purposes, as required by our Acceptable Use Policy.
(e)We do not independently verify the identity or consent status of every person appearing in uploaded footage. We rely on the account holder’s warranties and obligations under the SaaS Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy and may request evidence of consent where reasonably required.
(f)If you are a parent, guardian or person appearing in footage on Clip & Roll and you want the footage reviewed or removed, you may make a takedown request in accordance with section 4.
4 PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HOLD ACCOUNTS
(a)Most people who appear in footage stored on Clip & Roll do not hold Clip & Roll accounts. This may include players, coaches, officials, spectators and other people present at a game or event.
(b)Footage is uploaded to Clip & Roll by or on behalf of the relevant account holder, including through authorised team upload links.

(f)You may make a general enquiry or takedown request without identifying yourself, although we may need enough information to locate the relevant footage and properly action the request.
5 HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
(a)We may collect personal information directly from you when you:
(i) create a Clip & Roll account or accept an invitation as an Assistant Coach;
(ii) start a free trial or submit another online form;
(iii) provide or update your account, team, club, association or competition details;
(iv) contact us through the Website, a contact form, email or another support channel;
(v) purchase or manage a subscription or add-on; or
(vi) otherwise communicate with us or provide information to us.
(b)We may collect limited technical information automatically when a person uses the Website or web application, including an account holder, Assistant Coach or person accessing a shared Reel without an account. Depending on how the person uses the service, this may include IP address, basic device and browser information, authentication information, cookies, local storage information and error or diagnostic information.
(c)Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookies Policy. We do not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. We may use cookie-free performance monitoring tools to measure page load and service performance without identifying visitors.
(d)We may receive limited information from third parties that assist us in providing the service. For example, our payment processor provides us with information about subscription and payment status, but we do not receive or store complete payment card details.
(e)We also collect personal information indirectly when footage or other content is uploaded to Clip & Roll. This may include images and other information about players, coaches, officials, spectators and other people appearing in footage who do not themselves use Clip & Roll.
(f)Footage may be uploaded by an account holder, an Assistant Coach or a person using an authorised team upload link. We do not require a person using a team upload link to provide their name, email address or other account details merely to upload authorised footage.
(g)When a person views a shared Reel, we record a view when playback starts, together with the time of the view, so that the account holder can see how many times the Reel has been viewed. We do not identify the viewer through the view count and do not use cookies or device identifiers for this purpose. The viewer’s IP address may be processed briefly to prevent abuse but is not retained by us, although our hosting providers may retain it for a short period in their standard request logs.

8 HOW LONG WE KEEP PERSONAL INFORMATION
(a)We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is held or as otherwise required by law.
(b)While an account is active, we retain the account information, footage and other coaching content required to provide the Clip & Roll service.
(c)If a subscription is cancelled or an account expires, including at the end of a free trial, we retain the account data and remaining footage and coaching content for 30 days after access ends.
(d)When access ends, we will email the account holder stating the scheduled deletion date. We will send a further reminder approximately 7 days before that date.
(e)At the end of the 30-day retention period, the remaining account data, footage and coaching content will be permanently deleted, subject to any information we are required by law to retain.
(f)If footage, a clip or a reel is deleted through the Clip & Roll web application before the account ends, it is removed from storage and is not recoverable.
(g)Subscription and transaction records may be retained by us and our payment processor for the periods required by applicable taxation, accounting or other laws.
(h)Where personal information is no longer required for any purpose for which we may lawfully use or disclose it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy it or permanently de-identify it, unless we are required by law to retain it.
